Financial Information

We realize outstanding dental care can sometimes require a financial investment. Our payment options are intended to facilitate excellent service to you, while minimizing our administrative costs. Payment is expected at the time of service, and we have several convenient payment options to assist you, including cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Central Dental Associates accepts many insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Delta. As a courtesy to you, we will help you process all your insurance claims. We want to provide you and your family with a positive dental care experience.

Common Questions

What can I expect on my first visit?

We’ll reserve about an hour for your first visit, which will include a comprehensive exam and treatment planning, if necessary. Your doctor will review your medical history, perform an oral cancer screening, probe and chart your periodontal health, and take any appropriate X-rays. This will give us a good idea of where you stand and what steps we can take to optimize your oral health. Your dentist will discuss any treatment recommendations, and then we’ll schedule follow-up visits and perhaps your next hygiene visit. We encourage patients to ask questions and take an active role in their healthcare.

Do you treat children?

Yes! Central Dental Associates is a truly family dental practice, and our general, preventive, cosmetic, and restorative treatments are suited for patients of all ages. We encourage parents to bring young children with them to their visits, so they can become familiar with our office at a young age. We enjoy creating positive associations with the dentist that will carry on into adulthood. We also specialize in children’s restorative dentistry, including tooth-colored fillings and crowns.

Do you offer extended hours?

At Central Dental Associates, we’re fortunate to have a team devoted to accommodating your needs. We gladly see patients for early morning appointments, evening appointments, and weekend appointments. Visit our contact page for a complete listing of our extended office hours.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency?

A dental emergency, such as a knocked-out tooth, broken tooth, or lost crown, should be treated immediately. The longer you wait, the less likely the chances are that we can provide conservative treatment. If you experience an emergency, please visit the office as soon as possible. We may also be available to see you after hours. Please call the main line at (781) 769-3566 for instructions on how to reach our on-call dentist.

Do you refer patient to specialists?

Actually, we have specialists on staff! Our general dentists specialize in a variety of areas, including endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. In most cases, you can receive the entirety of your dental care, including dental implant placement, right from the comfort and convenience of our Norwood dental office.

Will my dentist accept referrals?

Yes, and thank you for your confidence. Our dentists are currently accepting new patients, and we look forward to providing your friends and family members with the same friendly, professional care that we provide to you every time you visit!
